Pricing philosophy and policies

  • Session fees should be paid in full (cash or cheque only) during the first two weeks of the session. New students are welcome to join at any time. Late enrolment is possible on a prorated basis (after the third week of classes) at any time during the session. No refunds are given after the first class. Students planning to attend more than three classes in any course must register for the full session.
  • Students are welcome to make up missed classes within that same session. Make-ups are available for adult classes only. Credit for missed classes are non-transferable and cannot be applied toward another session or workshop. Cancelled classes will be rescheduled at the director’s discretion.
  • Many new studios offer a package of classes per month and/or memberships similar to what gyms offer. However, YogaBuds feels strongly that maintaining our session-based approach encourages the progressive and systematic learning that fosters the deepening of one's practise. Iyengar is also the only yoga tradition offered in our studio, further differenting us from other studios, which bend with current fads. We are grateful to the students who have remained at YogaBuds for over two decades and welcome new students coming for the first time.
  • At YogaBuds, classes are generally taught in a 10-to-14-week session, with students registering for a structured course. New students are welcome to join classes at any time during the session. Drop-in classes are available but not encouraged. YogaBuds limits its student numbers in order to provide high quality, individualized attention. In return, we expect students to make a commitment to study this timeless tradition as a way to deepen their understanding and experience yoga’s transformative power.

Adults: 1.5 hour class
Adults: 2 hour class
Kids/Teens: 45 minute class
Family Yoga: 45 minute class
Mother-Daughter Yoga & Mindfulness: 45 minute class
Restorative Yoga: 2 hour class as part of a 4-week series
Private Yoga Therapy: 1 hour session
Psychotherapy: 1 hour session
