Psychotherapy and Yoga

YogaBuds studio is a serene therapeutic setting, and through the therapies facilitated by Temmi, yogic practice becomes integrated within the healing process. A wide range of chronic issues, including relieving anxiety and stress, insomnia, depression, ADHD, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, musculoskeletal issues, living with pain and healing emotional wounds may be addressed.

This creative approach focuses on the mind-body connection, including emotions, the physical body and soul and strives to shift long-held patterns of thought, emotion and behaviour (“samskaras” in Sanskrit). Combined with insights from psychotherapy and Expressive Therapies, yoga practice helps to exchange unhealthy old patterns for healthier ones.

Temmi's healing approach is to focus on the process of creation rather than on the final product. Through yoga and psychotherapy (which may also include expressive therapies or art therapy), the participant can explore their body, feelings, emotions and thought processes, thereby healing the body, soothing the mind and transforming the spirit.

Private one-to-one yoga therapy enables the therapist to gain a deeper understanding of the individual and plan accordingly to meet their individual needs, goals, and capabilities. A personalized home practice may also be provided.

This unique approach can be applied to children, adolescents and adults. Private sessions are available by appointment only. Please note that there is a 24-hour cancellation policy or full fees may apply.
